Shakespeare Schools Festival

Shakespeare Schools Festival (SSF) inspires children of all backgrounds and ages to challenge themselves by performing Shakespeare. We enable 4 schools a night to perform half hour abridged plays in a local professional theatre to an audience of family and friends. SSF is the UK’s largest youth drama festival, working with 25,000 young people and promotes social mixing. We focus our work on disadvantaged young people ensuring that at least 25% of the schools that are involved are from disadvantaged communities. The Associate is acting as a Commercial Manager and will be devising, assessing and implementing commercial income streams within our core business strategy. They will also be skilling up the permanent team to think in a more commercially minded way when taking on new initiatives.
