Ayesha Alesworth

Ayesha is a curious, highly motivated researcher and participative team member with a passion for problem solving. In 2012, she started her career at Edelman Intelligence, the insights and analytics division of the global communications marketing firm Edelman. In her 5 years at Edelman, Ayesha progressed from a graduate researcher to a senior manager. She is experienced in running multi-market research projects and consulting clients across a variety of sectors, including major FMCGs and Healthcare brands. Ayesha has an LLB from the London School of Economics, and in 2017 was a finalist for the 'Young Researcher of the Year', a UK national award from the Market Research Society. She has also been a finalist in Edelman Global Awards for striving towards the company's value of the 'Relentless Pursuit of Excellence'. Ayesha developed expertise in Social Purpose research to support brands develop long-term, socially impactful strategies. She also dedicates significant time (40+ pro-bono hours in 2017) supporting non-profits through consultations, training/mentoring, campaign measurement (including creative approaches using free tools) and crisis support. Having grown up in Pakistan, she hopes to one day do her part to help unlock its potential, and contribute to creative strategies for sustainable planning suited to its unique challenges.
