Ruth Harding

Before joining On Purpose, Ruth spent six years as a Business Management Consultant with Accenture specialising in Supply Chain Management and Digital Capabilities. Her work has ranged from leading strategic designs and market assessments to being responsible for the deployment of new business systems for global multinationals specific to Consumer Goods and Retail. Ruth was seconded twice to the Accenture Development Partnerships programme through which she applied commercial methodologies and corporate best practice to the international development sector. This included partnering with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to design supply chain systems that will prevent stock-outs of medical commodities throughout African countries. Prior to Accenture Ruth interned with the Ethical Tea Partnership and Paul Smith Ltd whereby she designed the company's first social CSR strategy. She has travelled extensively, particularly in Africa and South East Asia, including an eight-month placement in South Africa. Ruth holds a Masters (distinction level) in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Nottingham Business School.
